Revect Lagarto
Revect has ten siblings (5 from his mom’s previous partner) and lives in a slum dwelling in Leveriza. His mother died of lung cancer, and his father works as a mason in a construction. He attended college at Arellano University, and took Education, but stopped after his first year.
He was a varsity player in that school, but he had to stop because his father could not afford his daily expenses, (food and transportation fare). He is currently working as a dishwasher and he still wants to pursue his course and be a teacher someday.
Revect said as a player for Team Philippines in the Homeless World Cup, he would be very proud and tell the world that football is not only for rich people, and that nothing is impossible.
